Tomi Lahren – a 24 year old conservative video host who Glenn Beck cut loose from his network, The Blaze  – made a name for herself via her angry rants. She calls Black Lives Matters, “the new KKK.” The mainstream media are “liberals who masquerade as journalists.” Refugees from the Middles East are “rape-u-gees.” And all the concerns expressed by liberals make them “snowflakes.”

Her undoing came when she was on “The View” talking about the Constitution. “I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. … I can sit here and say that, as a Republican … stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.”

Needless to say, her fans were not amused, nor was Beck. Beck suspended her show. Lahren filed suit. Beck countersued. She and Beck parted ways.

Lahren stood her ground. She made a statement and walked away from a job over her right to have a belief. And then on Sunday, she ridiculed others for standing up for their beliefs.

On Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence gave the commencement address at University of Notre Dame. Many of the graduates walked out as a sign of protest.
