Corey Lewandowski returns amid GOP crisis

Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s former campaign manager, told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that the GOP will be to blame for loses in 2018 if they don’t back President Trump’s campaign agenda, according to The Hill.

“You can get on board that train or you can lose your next election. I can promise you this: The Democrats have a different agenda.”

“I’ve made it clear that I want this president’s agenda to get done, which is tax reform and healthcare reform and all the things that he pledged during the campaign that he gets to execute,” Lewandowski said.

He added, “Get the infrastructure bill done. Get the wall built. If you do those things, you will get reelected. If you don’t do those things, it’s because you have failed the American people.”

The GOP then took to Twitter to defend Jared Kushner’s Russian back-channel problems. Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and a senior advisor, has come under scrutiny by Congressional committees and the FBI for exploring the option of communicating with Moscow on Russian controlled equipment in Russian facilities.

Interestingly, they opted to use short CNN clips. You know, the fake news:
