Directors of NSA & National Intelligence refuse to answer questions in testimony [Video]

On Tuesday evening, The Washington Post broke a story that President Trump asked Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats if he could speak with FBI Director James Comey about stopping the investigation into Michael Flynn and his contact with the Russians.

The Post had also reported in a different story that National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers encountered a similar situation.

There was great anticipation about what Rogers and Coats testimony would entail to at the hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday.

When questioned about their interactions with Trump on the Russia probe, both men refused to discuss the conversations.

The Committee members, both Democrat and Republican, were frustrated by their lack of cooperation when they couldn’t provide a legal basis for their unwillingness to answer the questions.
